Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully – by using the services of Sarsh you will be entering into a contract with us and agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Throughout these terms, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, or ‘ourselves’ means Sarsh. ‘You’, ‘the client’, ‘the customer’, or ‘your’ means the person who has requested our services and entered into a contract with us.

Sarsh is an interior design and colour/art consultation business. We are a Sole Trader and not VAT registered or a Limited Company.

Section 1 – In-Home Consultations:

We will provide you with our cost for an on-site consultation in writing, verbally, or via the Sarsh website. During an on-site consultation, we will ask you to confirm (either verbally or in writing) that you are satisfied with our service, and therefore agree to settle our invoice.

When completing an on-site consultation, we will have provided you with a service. However, if you choose not to proceed with our advice/recommendations, you will still be required to settle our invoice in full.

If you purchase products or services based on our advice/recommendations and then change your mind or are unsatisfied with the finished result, you will still be required to fully settle our consultation invoice. If you have already paid our consultation invoice, we will not provide a refund or compensate you in any way.

Following our on-site consultation, if you are dissatisfied (other than changing your mind), you have seven days to contact us and discuss why. We will then do everything possible to make you satisfied. If you do not inform us within seven days that you are dissatisfied, we will assume you are satisfied with our service.

For certain items such as paint, wall coverings, etc we may provide advice on purchasing volumes. However, our advice is purely recommendation, we will not be liable for any costs associated with purchasing these items, or provide compensation should over-ordering occur.

Section 2 – Use of 3rd Parties:

We may recommend 3rd party tradespeople or professional services as part of our advice. However, if you choose to use the services of a 3rd party recommended by ourselves, you will enter into a contract directly between you and them. Therefore, we will not be liable for poor workmanship, damage, or any other issue associated with using a recommended 3rd party.

Section 3 – Cancellations:

To cancel or reschedule an on-site consultation or any arranged meeting, please email hello@sarsh.co.uk at least 48 hours before the appointment. If you wish to cancel or reschedule and do not inform us within 48 hours, we reserve the right to charge our full consultation/meeting fee.

Section 4 – Payment Terms:

You must pay the total amount of our invoice via bank transfer within seven days of the date displayed on the invoice (by the end of that day). We will email, post or hand deliver our invoice to the address you provided on your initial enquiry (unless you write to us and request we send it to a different address). We do not accept late payments due to the invoice going into an email junk folder or being lost in the post. You may be invoiced before work is completed, and you can pay the invoice anytime. However, the invoice will only be due for payment by the date on the invoice. We do not provide extended payment terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
